I’m not arguing that Sean Peyton isn’t a good coach.

Loomis came to this organization in 2000. It was a dumpster fire. They had just traded an entire draft for Ricky Williams.

I’m sure you’ll have some point about how it’s all Peyton and Brees, but it wasn’t. The organization from top to bottom was turned into a real professional franchise. And a respected one at that. And I have no idea if that was solely because of Mickey Loomis or not, but I CAN tell you it certainly coincided with his arrival here.

Look at the Raiders. They’re still being run like a baseball team where the players and coaches are just swapped out on a whim.. The Cowboys are run by a cliched Dallas oilman. The Redskins were a shitshow with an arrogant businessman at their forefront who thought he could spend his way on aging superstars to winning. The Browns are… the Browns.

Mickey Loomis is a top tier GM. Whether you hate a few of his draft picks or not.
