9 is way to high for Dart.

I would see it as a huge win, if they were able to move down, aquire more picks, and still land him.

You may be right but I try hard not to think like this anymore.

If he's your guy, take him. Face the consequences if it doesn't work out (which of course is part of our issues)

You don’t risk missing out on your qb.

If browns giants jets pass on qb, there’s a number of teams that could be playing the qb game mid to late first to early 2nd rd

Nobody wants to trade up in this draft. Besides Graham, Hunter, and Carter, the prospects are all generally the same level of player.

Miss out on Jalon Walker, take J. Campbell
Miss out on Will Campbell, take Banks Jr. or Membou
Miss out on Will Johnson, take Barron or Revel Jr.
Miss out on Tyler Warren, take Loveland, Taylor or Fannin

Dan Morgan from Carolina said earlier that people weren’t calling to move up even though the Carr news broke.

Don’t expect any trades in the top 20 picks IMO.

Yeah. If he's your guy he's your guy. Take him.

But Execs should also be held responsible when it doesn't work out

If they want Dart and are strongly considering taking him they aren’t going to mess around. They will take him at 9 and not worry about an extra pick here or there.

Dart is tough (underrated aspect to qb'ing). He gets first downs. I think he'll be a good pro. Outside of Ward, I think this qb class is underrated. I'd be excited if the Saints landed him or Shedeur, provided they don't trade up to pick either.

Agree.

You have to hit on a QB to win.

At 9 I would be happy with us trying to hit on one.

I heard that the only QB that the Saints have a first round grade on is Tyler Shouck out of Louisville. The rumor is that he likely will not get drafted in 1st and Saints are hoping to get him at 40.

I think Dart is a wasted pick at almost any point. He’s just not an NFL QB. He is a Kiffin, one read, receiver has to be open to throw it type of QB. He doesn’t anticipate and that is the name of the game in the NFL.

If they REALLY have a first rounder on him you’d think they’d trade back to INTO first at 31-32 to get that 5th year.

Sorry I meant trade back INTO rd one. Instead of sitting there at 40. Draft vernacular sucks

The big name is Sanders, so that alone overshadows Dart. I'm good either way though.

Based on pundits ranking. QB is the most important position on the field. If CKM thinks Dart is his guy he wants at QB you have to take him when you can.

Who cares about rankings if they think Dart is thier franchise QB.

I would take him over Sanders for damn sure. Kid is tough, can run and throws a good deep ball.

Gonna be funny when the GMs get real and don't draft Sanders in the top half of the 1st round. There is no franchise looking QB in this year's draft. This is 2022 all over again.
