Except if you don’t make a deal this year, the Saints would essentially get nothing next year. Both sides have a reason to get something done.

I don’t understand why everyone doesn’t get it yet.

Teams need/want a proven super bowl winning head coach way more than the Saints need/want a 3rd rounder or some shite.

If the Saints are smart (I have concerns here) then they’ll tell everyone the price is the price, and it’s high. Otherwise feel free to hire another guy you think is the next…Sean Payton.

People keep saying this but uhhh so is a franchise changing HC. Probably more so than any one player you’d draft there short a franchise QB…fortunately for us the cardinals aren’t in the market for one.

I don’t think he ends up there but a guy can dream

I get playing hard ball negotiating but the Saints have to get a deal done this off season. The Saints get nothing for him next year.

If a team really wants Sean they’ll have to pay up as they won’t get another shot at him next season unless their back up hire is a total fail. So it works both ways

Not nothing but a whole lot less that's for sure.
