He is a good coach. But lets not forget he vastly underachieved considering he had the most accurate QB in NFL history. We should have had two more championships in 2011 and 2018. The fact that bitch arse Giants team won in 2011 and that weak arse Patriots team won in 2018, was a travesty. Payton always gets into these playoff games and blows it either due to his stubbornness or cuteness. He ruined Brees' prime with atrocious defenses, whether it was signing guys like Byrd or Browner, or extending thugs like Galette to big contracts.

Do people forget the Saints lost 5 in a row at one point last year WITH Sean Payton as head coach? Do people forget Payton had three consecutive years at 7-9 from 2014-16? Maybe he quit because he knows if he stayed, he’d be coaching a 2-5 team.

I think it was more drew Bree’s than Sean Payton. They’re both gone now so we are in rebuild hell.
