Scott Shanle tweet yesterday. Another former player sending a message to Front Office?

Rooting for @Lions because of the parallels between their and the Saints fan bases. Many struggling years now have hope and some success. Can feel exactly what they are feeling in that building tonight. We experienced it... Nothing like bringing joy to a City, state and fan base
It was a good comparison. Flashbacks to when we were winning.

The fact that they currently have a bunch of former Saints assistants isn't missed either. But seeing the Lions fans crying after the win, reminds me of when Hartley kicked the game winner against Minnesota to go to the Super Bowl.

Definitely not shade at the current org, but I can’t help but wonder if Payton had retired a year earlier if we’d have Campbell instead of Allen…

DA was the plan all along . It is was people left. Players and coaches did not like the plan. Some left for greener pastures.

Yeah, that is a reach... he was just being genuinely happen for the team and drew similarities.

The message is the Saints are not winning anything anytime soon so watch the Lions team which is made of Saints coaches we kicked to curb. Also Allen and Loomis stink.

The clear parallel is there for anyone with a brain to see. Not surprising that you missed it completely.

Shanle definitely not saying this message lol. Just rooting for the Lions lol. And we didn’t kick them to the curb. They left for promotions…
ETA: Allen and Loomis are really bad and if the other front office people leave the brain drain in NOLA will be complete.

There is not much brainpower in the Front Office to begin with so embrace being a loser.
