Payton won't be able to help himself. My money is on Mike Williams from USC

You mean Clemson?

He's a baller. As long as we get a CB and DE with 2/3 first picks I wouldn't be mad at a TE/WR.

Doubt it. I won't be surprised to see them go WR in round 3 though.

i dont think you trade a 23yr old 1k WR for a 1st Rd pick, then draft a WR with said pick.

Only offensive players I see us possibly taking are OJ Howard (doubtful he falls to 32), Evan Engram, or Christian McCaffery.

Nah, they might draft a TE early but that will be it offensively

I doubt we draft a WR that high, but you never really know with CSP. We might not draft one at all if the value isn't there. Thomas, Snead, Ginn, Coleman, & Lewis are respectable...especially with Brees throwing to them.

DE(easily our biggest need), CB, S, & RB are all needs that we need to address for the 2017 season. QB,TE, OG/OT, & OLB are all needs that need to be addressed for 2018(I'm assuming we'll draft some of them in this draft, so they'll be ready for 2018.

WR is a need, but it's not anywhere near the top of the list.

Given the depth of te talent in this draft, I would be surprised if they didn't take one in the middle rounds.

Yea, it's a good draft for TE's & RB's as far as offense goes(I assume CSP takes one of these in the top 3 rounds). I think CSP waits to draft a WR in 2018. Some people want to draft a QB, but I hope we address that in 2018 as well. I'm unsure how the FO will handle our O-Line situation...our top 6 guys are legit, but you have to assume that Strief is gone in 2018 & plan accordingly.

I'd like to draft DE, CB, S, LB, & 1 offensive position with our 1st 5 picks. Our DE talent is so pathetic that we also need to add another in free agency this year. I'm hoping we do, b/c there are still some good guys out there that can be low end starters & good depth:

Mario Williams
Chris Long
Datone Jones
Connor Barwin
Jared Odrick
Dwight Freeney
Devin Taylor

You can't count on Kikaha & Gwachum. Tapp(I actually like him) & Kruger(don't want him) are free agents. We literally have nobody.

I wish we would sign Rex Burkhead. That would be one less position of need to consider during the draft. The only CB's left that we should even consider signing are Morris Claiborne & Brandon Carr. I'll be perplexed if we don't sign a DE...we have plenty of money left & there are plenty of options left as well.

I really like Mike Williams at 11.
If Thomas and Barnett are gone I would be fine with Williams over Foster

I like Mike Williams a lot. The FO might take Taco in that scenario or the random guy that falls to our pick. If we do go WR...I'd want it to be Mike Williams as well.

No way we go offense first round for a WR who will impact only passing plays on an already top ranked offense when we need someone who can impact every defensive snap (front 7) on one of the worst ranked defenses. That's where the value is. I don't think Payton will make this mistake again.
