Saints waive a running back, send veteran DB to IR ahead of Week 5 vs Seahawks

The Saints have made a handful of roster moves ahead of a Week 5 matchup with the Seahawks, which include a pair of moves that send two familiar names off the active roster.
Running back Tony Jones Jr. has been waived, and CB/S P.J. Williams has been sent to injured reserve with a quad injury. The news was first reported by ESPN's Field Yates.
Jones has been a healthy scratch each of the past two weeks, and would seem a likely candidate to return on the practice squad. Williams could potentially return as early as Week 9 if healthy enough to do so.
The Saints also activated DT Malcolm Roach from IR, the first player to return from the list since the start of the season, and elevated CB Chris Harris and WR Keith Kirkwood from the practice squad for the game.
It's possible Harris sees action at slot corner or even safety with the Saints missing multiple hands at those positions. The practice squad has come into the spotlight this week with Latavius Murray being signed by the Broncos after a standout performance against the Vikings in London.

Does this need to be clickbait? Can we not get the names in the thread title?

Jones seemed like a nice find last year until his injury. Shame.

He's talented. Had that ankle injury and never got back on course.

He looked good in preseason but not in real games. Many such cases.

So you're agreeing the title is a clickbait title.
Now I have no issue with this tread, but damn you real pissy real fast.

So we are rolling with just Ingram, Kamara, and Washington? Seems pretty thin.

I don't like petty whiners. I paste and post verbatim the original article title and the article. How and for whatever reason anybody would call that thread title click bait is beyond me.

I was just checking the roster to see and as far as I can tell that is it. Seattle has a very weak run def. we could exploit. I hope we don't lose anymore rb's in this game.
