The saints are an average to above average defense when compared to the rest of the league statistically.
Of the saints 17 games so far this year, 8 have come against top 10 offenses. Lets look at their defensive outputs in those games, I'm guessing it brings down the average tremendously

Invest in a DVR you poor bastard
I have three
And why would I DVR the game when I am watching it? I really don't have the time to go back and rewatch games. (though I still have the Super Bowl on my DVR in my living room)

go to nfl.com, watch the video highlights of the game and you'll clearly see what everyone else already saw, will smith coming up the gut and hitting stafford causing him to throw off his back foot

as opposed to making shite up like you just did?

I'm not going to say "link" but I'm looking all over for some kind of replay and can't find it. If I am wrong, I'll own up to it, but all I recall is the ball having more than enough air and the receiver falling down
So you're the one making the shite up. You're wrong and then you call me out for "making shite up", when really you're the one making the shite up because you don't remember.
LIke I said, see what you wanna see

Lions were 7 for 10 on 3rd downs last night.
But stats are stats
and lost by 17 I guess if we had a top 5 defense we could have won by 42 and moved up in the BCS rankings

Just watched the replay. Looked like Stafford got that ball away before the pressure reached him. Still had plenty of air under it and the receiver fell down while fighting for position with Greer.
Splitting hairs on this one. I can see both sides

Right, SO you're going to say pressure up the middle did not affect the throw?

You have to wonder if you are the crazy one or if its everyone arguing the point with you I guess.
Putting alot of air under the ball isn't usually an ideal situation for a QB like you are insinuating here. Probably caused by the pressure.

I can see it going both ways. Obviously people will see something different when they look at a replay. A great run by team was an obvious hold to another. I can see that.

Its not, though Stafford did it for most of the game and completed passes due to the blitzes failing to get pressure and the cb's out of position

Your stat disposed my stat how? Last nights
Game does not change the facts of the numbers I provided. I think like the other poster said you may be a little crazy, I think a screw is loose

it really doesn't matter if you only give up 35% on 3rd down when you allowed the team 70% the night before. Stats mean shite

Nah, I'm arguing my points and you are arguing yours. Not everyone shares the same opinion

so when it comes down to it, you are more worried about a 1 game stat, not season stats?

If brees throws for 250 next week it will prove that he didn't set the passing yardage record per zombie
Posted on 1/8/12 at 1:54 pm to LSUZombie
You get the feeling that if Williams leaves for the same job in StL., its going to be because he knows that his time here is up. Yeah, I know Fisher is his friend, but you don't voluntarily leave a perennial playoff/Super Bowl contender for a franchise that is struggling.

I guess I'm more worried about the current game we are playing, not the stats for the season.
