I wonder if our fans are the only ones who go more crazy over UDFA than they do actual draft picks
Saints have a track record with UDFAs
Pierre Thomas
Chris Ivory
Junior Galette
Ken Crawley
Brandon Coleman
Josh Hill
Chase Daniel
Tim Lelito
Glenn Foster
History suggests that maybe two ode these guys make the roster and one will contribute this year.

Just a heads up, DE Alex Jenkins is getting another year of exemption, meaning he doesn't count against our 90 man roster and wouldn't count against our PS.
He was one of the four international players last year assigned to an NFC South team. Each of them is getting this same extra year of exemption, and the program is expanding to the teams in the AFC North.

Not sure what's correct, but I just found this (from yesterday) on our udfa's. I've never heard of 2 of these guys. LINK
Here is a list of the undrafted free agents known to have signed with the Saints.
Henry Mondeaux, DL, Oregon. In 41 games over four seasons, the former Ducks lineman racked up 111 stops, 17 tackles for a loss, and added 10 sacks to go with four pass breakups and two fumble recoveries. He’ll get a chance to add a talented front in camp this summer.
Jeromy Irwin, OL, Colorado. A 6-foot-5 tackle prospect and former three star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite, Irwin is aggressive and has good lateral movement, but comes with an injury history, to the foot and ACL.
J.T. Gray, DB, Mississippi State. A four year feature at Starkville, Gray had little trouble getting onto the scoresheet, recording a total of 209 tackles, throwing ball carriers for a loss on 14.5 occasions, adding four sacks and eight pass breakups. He had just one pick, though.
Keith Kirkwood, WR, Temple. The 6-3, 220 pounder scored seven touchdowns last season and amassed 325 yards, boasting 1,542 career yards and 16 total scores.
Taylor Stallworth, DT, South Carolina. The nose tackle started all 26 games for the Gamecocks for the past two seasons and in 2017, he had 30 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and hurried the quarterback 10 times from the interior.
Cory Helms, OG, South Carolina. A four year starter at both Carolina and Wake Forest with experience at both guard and center.
Linden Stephens, CB, Cincinnati. He played 91.82 percent of his 2,471 career defensive snaps at outside cornerback, according to Pro Football Focus’ calculations, but he has logged snaps as a safety, and has played 227 special teams snaps in his final two years at school, experience that proved a major asset to NFL scouts.
Colton Jumper, LB, Tennessee. The 6-2, 229 pounder boasted 126 stops and 4.5 sacks to go with 15 tackles for loss in three seasons at Knoxville.
Deon Yelder, TE, Western Kentucky. Though he was at school for three years, all his production came in his final year, when he amassed 688 yards through the air and seven touchdowns off 52 total catches.

I found a site that seems to have the most updated list of our udfa's. LINK
UDFA's (12)
QB - JT Barrett
WR - Keith Kirkwood
TE - Deon Yelder
TE - Nate Wozniak
OG/OC - Cory Helms
OG - Daronte Bouldin
OT - Jeremy Irwin
DT - Taylor Stallworth
DE - Henry Mondeaux
LB - Colton Jumper
CB - Linden Stephens
S - JT Gray
Rookie Tryouts (4)
QB - Brandon Silvers
TE - Cam Sergine
OT - David Knevel
LS - AJ Hantak
According to this site...LS AJ Hantak is a rookie tryout & not an udfa (which actually makes sense).
The only player they don't have listed on here is OG Maea Teuhema. Still, I'm assuming we signed him as an udfa.
Assuming Teuhema is signed...that puts us at 13 udfa's & 4 rookie tryouts. We should know the exact figures in the next few weeks I guess. Not exactly sure why, but this years udfa coverage has been a complete & utter cluster frick.

A lot of people seem to view replacement
QB with a sense of urgency, but there is no great rush at this time, imo.

We might be done signing UDFA's. We've signed 12 guys so far.
OG Maea Teuhema & DT Tashon Smallwood are the only 2 guys that a decent percentage of sites don't list. We're actually fortunate that we were able to sign 12 udfa's, b/c we only had 5 available roster spots after the draft was over. Good job by the FO to make it work.
I'm not saying we still can't sign Teuhema & Smallwood, but it seems less likely considering rookie mini-camp is this weekend. They would have to cut someone in order to sign 1 of these udfa's (we're at the 90 player max after signing Daronte Bouldin).
