Rattler should be ahead at this point and will probably remain so through the first weeks of camp. Although he is only a 1-year veteran with a small number of starts (all losses), he still should be more comfortable than a rookie in his first training camp.

I think you run the risk of splitting the players when you bounce back and forth with your starting QB's.
Dennis Allen was splitting reps between Haener and Rattler not long before he got fired,
Great point!

Rattler has NFL game experience This is his second training camp with the Saints, So of course he will and should be way a of a drafted college rookie making his first NFL training camp practice.
Ratler should be the favorite to win the competition and be named the starter in September when the Saints take the field against the Cardinals. He has NFL regular season game experience.

Sure, when there are real positives not some fuzzy feel good crap.
I credited Moore with moving Penning to guard (though it will have challenges) and being the catalyst to get Loomis to start a rebuild (albeit 5 years too late).
I’m encouraged Bobby Hebert said Moore’s practices are a “well oiled machine”. When Bobby is critical, he’s referred to as a drunk same BS shoot the messenger of bad news here.
