Whether you like picks or not they are addressing needs
I like this cb pick

Still no #2 WR
Still might use a 2022 pick to trade into the 3rd for a WR

A CB that the expert says “needs to learn how to cover.” Really excited about this pick now!

This might be my favorite pick they have made. Worth the two thirds

“Expert” The dude is a first round talent. He just needs coaching.

He wouldn't be available in the 3rd if there was nothing wrong with him. Just like everyone else drafted in the 3rd round.
Good pick imo

Both 3rd picks. Smh lol
People have typically said the Saints have one of the deepest teams in the league and that it is difficult to make the roster. They need quality and not quantity.

The Athletic GRADE: 2nd-3rd Round (No. 76 overall)
SUMMARY: A two-year starter at Stanford, Adebo was the left cornerback in defensive coordinator Lance Anderson’s scheme, lining up primarily outside in both man and zone. He put himself on the NFL radar with an All-American redshirt freshman season, but his sophomore year fell short of expectations and he chose not to play in 2020, creating a challenging evaluation for NFL teams. Adebo stays attached to routes once he is connected, displaying the length and ball-tracking ability to consistently disrupt the catch point (34 passes defended, eight interceptions in 22 games). While he competes with confidence and toughness, negative plays usually result from inconsistent discipline and body fundamentals. Overall, Adebo is a leggy, upright athlete prone to false steps, but his size, foot agility and instinctive ball skills are traits worth gambling on. He projects best as a press-man corner who can also play in a Cover 3 scheme.

This dude would have been at 90. I hate these stupid trades Saints like to do.

Sure, but “needs to learn how to cover” doesn’t sound great for a CB

I’m a believer in callaway. Thomas, Kamara, callaway, trautman, Harris a good enough group of pass catchers. I do agree I’d like to see another WR or TE added in this draft though.

I think it is hilarious that people make comments like this. People are mad at the picks bc they think we can get these guys later. However it is the same people that were banging the drum for guys like JOK, Marshall, and Cox. JOK and Marshall went mid and late second and Cox is continuing to fall in the 3rd

They watch CFP & read mock drafts. They get an idea in there head on how the draft will play out & about where guys should get drafted. Then they freak out when it doesn't go as they thought it would in their head.
They know the big names & guys from big time schools. They know nothing else.

It’s mostly LSU retards. Payton is close with David Shaw. Love the Adebo pick. And the Werner pick too.

Guaranteed most of the people hating on the pick didn’t watch a down the guy played last year.
Posted on 4/30/21 at 9:32 pm to Damone
Typically when you think you are getting a steal you are really just getting a guy that is hyped up by analysts but every other team think is a bust. It is part of the reason that the browns sucked for a long time. They drafted all of those guys
