Sign Winston and see if you can sign CJ Uzomah from Cincy for a decent deal as insurance at TE for Trautman. Bring Armstead and Marcus Williams back and then use the draft to find your #2 WR. There’s just not a lot of QB talent in this years draft so this would the draft to either restock your depth along the lines and skill positions or if there’s a player they really like you can package a bundle of picks for them. Bringing our all pro LT, no matter how much shite people give him about injuries as well as our ball hawking safety is a must though so we won’t have much left after bringing those guys back.

If you're going to spend the assets on another Q.B. we're better off bypassing Cousins and spending a bit more on Wilson. Get the best available. If not Wilson save the picks and sign Winston.

I wouldn't spend any assets if it were me. I think Wilson is a declining player and his best days are behind him. I wouldn't spend what it will take to get him.

Having said that, these reclamation projects or QBs whose salary is just out of line for their production can sometimes be had for cheap (assets). I certainly wouldn't spend much on a Cousins or Wentz.

But, you have to try and get lucky somewhere. You have to draft a QB and hope you get a good one, or bring in someone who has failed elsewhere but you think has a chance to turn it around. I've seen enough of Winston to have the opinion that he's not going to become a QB who is around top 10. If we decide to keep him, it would be strategic to limit cap expenditures so that money can be spent in the future.

I am really hoping to see Jameis back, I feel like he would have something to prove and with Michael Thomas back also in a mood to prove he is elite. I like the way that sounds.
