I hate how this is now an LSU thread instead of discussing the potential of bringing in a running back thread.
I like Williams. He’s probably the best of what’s available. Other guys or there are Wayne Gallman, Justin Jackson, Devonta Freeman and Latavius Murray.
Jackson isn’t bad, just always hurt. Gallman is just a guy.
I wonder who will be on the street after roster cuts.

I actually really like Williams & think he's the best RB available. I'd love to sign him & we can probably get him for league minimum or like 1.7 mil at the most.
I wanted to draft him in the 6th round, but he went undrafted b/c he ran a very slow 40. I knew someone was going to get an udfa gem.
Williams is good at everything...just doesn't have breakaway speed.
Imagine being stuck behind Fournette & Guice for your entire college career. That's how a good player slips through the cracks.

He is better than CEH but chiefs are too invested in him. He is a low mileage guy too

It would be nice to have another capable back to catch out of the backfield. If Kamara misses time or even when he is on the sideline it’d be nice to have a guy in there who isn’t just gonna run it up the middle.

Saints love slow RBs so it makes sense
