There was contact, but I agree there was not enough to warrant the penalty. However, I could forgive that because there is a judgement call since there was some contact (watch CGJ's leg whip around and make contact with the kicker).

this is inexcusable for the officials to not know the basic rules. They did not know the correct way to reset the clock, and they needed Houston to tell them about the runoff.

Saints need to not put themselves in a position to have their games decided by officials. Scoring more than 3 points in the first half would have helped.

Yes, they do.

Remember how the Rams were bitching about the officiating before the game.. that definitely seemed to help them.
