I've been reading a bunch of Chiefs fans opinions on Sorenson.
Almost all of them say that he was playing out of position. They were using him as a deep coverage safety, & he sucks at that.
They said he's actually a good in the box safety.

Well that would make a bit more sense but everything I read is about missed tackles.
Seems like a great guy and teammate and I hope he is a good special teamer.
Any word on the contract yet?

Overthecap released Kentavius Street's contract.

Street is a very very strong piece to build depth and experience on the dline.
With Oni playing from day one with I assume a red shirt freshman 1st rnd pick DE the line is looking like the high of the team next year.

Sorenson was better in years past when he played more of a box linebacker/safety role.

I haven't seen anything. I'm sure they have already offered pj a contract at a little more than he made last year.
My guess is he is holding out on signing it. Sorenson has no bearing on pj imo.
