Payton will only go to a team with a top 5 or so quarterback. Think of all the coaching greats and how almost always paired with a great quarterback. He know better.

He did not have control after the Super Bowl. He was banned from the NFL, lost his 6- million dollar salary, and could not speak or communicate with anyone in or outside of the organization, regarding the team.
