Had no idea the Rushing stats were so paltry
Devin NEAL 7 carries 18 yards
Taysom HILL 10 carries 17 yards
AK 3 carries 11 yards
TOTAL = 20 carries 46 yards ..not even 2.5 avg per carry
Tyler Shough led the Saints in Rushing 7 carries 22 yards
Mason Tipton a WR had 11 yards on 1 carry

You had two guards who are not AFL quality let alone NFL quality.

Not gonna run much when O line is this garbage. Look how many short yardage situations today where they got zero push.

The soft run game is bc of our interior line. It’s really not debatable.
Also. Shuck had zero time all game. It was basically hike and throw. Which hurts the run game even more.
A good Oline will change this team drastically.
CKM calls a game like he has the talent in place. I guess the silver lining is that when we do get a good Oline… Shuck and this offense will already be ready to roll on.
This draft needs to focus on Olinemen. Bc the last few picks have sucked arse.

On both sides of the ball, the line makes everyone good.
Rb's can run, qb's have time to throw
Good d line makes DB's look like studs
Thats why you cant have enough D line and O line personnel.

The most frustrating aspect of the saints is the amount of capital we invested in Ruiz, penning, peat, Davenport, Turner, and Foskey.
Those were all high value picks not even on the team anymore besides Ruiz. And Ruiz is horrendous.
Entire scouting dept needs to be revamped.
