Cam, Teddy, Davis and CSP are all good choices.
But only one truly stands head and shoulders above the rest.

OR Thomas is just THAT DAMN GOOD and this is further proof that we'll be ok with even a mediocre QB after Brees as long as we have Thomas and can get a good run game.
OR he catches 50% of the balls a guy like Taysom Hill would throw to him
We can just pretend TB wasnt a 65% passer in his previous stop, sure
Our backup QB "game managed" his way to win against a playoff team, in the most hostile stadium in the league.

all Teddy did was not frick up.

Bridgewater had 2 TDs that game you say? Yeah one was a 1 yarder to Thomas and the other was a short pass to Kamara that Kamara took to the house.
Oh I bet this is a fun exercise for you. What's your arbitrary cutoff for a TD to be legit?
quote:
Yeah he got that 70% but taking all the open short passes. Absolutely nothing wrong with that and it helped him not frick up because he took almost no chances (maybe 2 deep passes in 6 games?). But it also isn't an MVP performance.
quote:
Had our D not played above their heads those games on top of that, we lose likely every single game.
Our defense played great. Our offense was on the field nearly 60% of the time during TB's starts. Do you understand the TOP advantage for a defense? Do you realize that is a huge margin?
quote:
And let us not forget he did lose that Rams game. You could say all you want that he didn't start but he did in fact play the majority of that game (30 passes to Brees' 5 and he had about a 56% comp. rate) and gave our defense ZERO help with all those 3 and outs. 5-1 is his actual record. Putting that loss on Brees is 100% a falsehood.
Holy shite, can you reach any more plz? Hey we got a QB who never misses a game and takes all the first team reps at practice. Oh Teddy, we now need you to go win a game on the road vs the defending NFC rep in the Super Bowl
quote:
That's NOT MVP performance.
You do not understand what being most valuable to a team entails, and that's pretty apparent by you bullshite post full of holes and strawmen arguments. But alas im not surprised

In a one possession game, on the road, vs Russ Wilson, where one frick up loses you the game.
You mean where they scored 2 TDs in the last 3 minutes just to close the gap to 6? And the last TD came with zeroes on the clock so they literally had no time left after getting to 1 possession?
But we'll ignore how he played like shite in half his "starts": LAR, Dal, and Jax. Those were FAR from mvp performances. The D had to play insane in 2 of those games just to win, and that's on the run game helping them out, NOT Teddy.
And in 2 wins he played well, he got a shite ton of help elsewhere. He only truly helped win 1 game. The rest he just didn’t frick up.
Hell may as well name the Oline backups that had to play MVP if that's the qualifications. It's fricking stupid.

I think you make an argument for cook if we're talking teddy's 5 games. He's been huge the 2nd half of the season and we'd be in a bad spot without him
He has really come strong in the last month. He will be a key piece in a playoff run.
