Kamara is a 25yr old RB in the NFL, this is his time to get the biggest contract he'll ever get. I don't blame him one bit for wanting to max it out, I also don't blame the Saints one bit if they decide with the football team that we have put together and the fact that we've had success when Kamara was out with injuries, if they determine a RB in our system is not worth over $10M/yr and get a decent trade value. Kamara is great player and deserves to be paid as such, but he may not necessarily be the key to us winning a SB, therefor we may not value him or the RB position as high as a team that needs to sell tickets and win now like say the Dolphins, Cardinals, Rams or Jags

All for it. He will not perform to the level of whatever contract we give him. Let someone else overpay.

My point is both teams have loaded rosters and figure to be pretty damn good teams and they’d only get better with Kamara. Not a punishment at all..

Yea i get that. I just thought Browns was an odd choice given how stacked they were.

Everything that has come out since has indicated cooler heads have prevailed and they seem to be working on a deal. Wouldn't shock me if they had a deal done by next week.
