Marrone won’t have a shitty line, lol. This is an uninformed piece.

I kind of agree.

It may take playing into the season but Marrone will find the best guys to start no matter where they were drafted or how long in the league.

I'll say again he may be the biggest pick up of the year. Time will tell.

Honestly I hope they give Hurst the chance to beat out Penning or Ruiz. They will play Peat because of what they are paying him. What if Hurst wins the job at LT but Penning moves Ruiz off of RG at least to start his career? The best 5 should play regardless and right now the only spots we know are locked are RT and C.

I think hurst will play LT to start the season until Penning is ready. Then hurst will slide over to guard. I’m pretty confident that hurst will be a starter on the line somewhere for pretty much the whole season. That is why he is so valuable and injuries will happen anyway.

He gets hate for a couple of huge whiffs. Obviously he is hurt too much and is overpayed but sometimes people ho overboard.

Id also start hurst at It to at least start the year.
Were you drunk on the last 2 comments?? But it's more than just a couple of whiffs, the guy is a very inconsistent guard. He's up and down and just not good, for as big as he is he plays with a very soft streak. It was embarrassing in that playoff stretch when he faced the 2 best DTs at that time back to back in Philly's Fletcher Cox and the Rams Ndamukong Suh. They manhandled him like he was a lil boy pushing and throwing him around all game. The dude is just a liability and always will be. But I agree with you on McCoy, leave him at center and stop with the talk of moving him to guard. I mean even if they did that Ruiz is better suited to move to center, but they haven't done that and I don't think they will.

If Ruiz drastically improves and Project Peat stays healthy which is unlikely, we will have a pretty good OL even with Penning starting at LT.

You may not agree he’s a pro bowl player, but you do realize coaches and players also vote them in. So apparently coaches that watch way more tape than me or you and players that have gone against him thought he was multiple years.

Peat is not a very good pass blocker but he is a road grader as a run blocker and he can play multi positions on the line and that alone is of high value to any team.

Ran into Andrus Peat at my gym this morning… shoulder day, apparently. Nice guy…said it’s going to be an exciting year.
