I am a believer in most rookie QBs waiting at least a year. Unless you know you have a Burrow or a Jayden Daniels I think he would have been better waiting. But thus is life in the NFL.

If he's the starter when Carr gets hurt why isn't he the backup? Why would haener be the backup and not be the starter when Carr gets hurt? This organization is so arse backwards! The entire organization needs to be overhauled from the owner down!

Maybe they like the idea of him with first team reps. They couldn’t afford that kind of time to him before.
I like a coaching staff willing to adjust and adapt rather than just go with a usual practice.
