The Saints are not out. Could be in this through week 17.

Need Arizona over Chicago, Washington over Philly, and Baltimore over New York.

Problem will be the next week, when we need the Eagles to win at the Giants.

I don't understand the overtime here. They said a td wins iton first possession....if tied after each possesion then next score wins....so how does a field goal win it on Dallas' first possession?

Big Ben threw a pick on their first possession in OT

putting it in easy terms

NYG needs to lose final 2 games
DAL needs to lose final 2 games
CHI needs to lose final 2 games
MIN needs to lose final 2 games
STL needs to lose 1 of their final 2 games
and NO needs to win final 2 games

Redskins at worst can go 8-8. Giants at worst can go 8-8. Both hold tiebreakers. Seattle already has a better record. Saints are out

Even though it won't happen and we are basically out, what you said isn't true. If Washington wins the division, and NY and Dallas are both 8-8. The tiebreaker goes between the two in the same division first. That would put Dallas ahead of NY, thus knocking NY out of the equation. We would win a head to head with Dallas and be in at the 6th seed. This also means that the Bears and Vikings have to lose out too.

Giants can lose out. They're in before us. redskins can lose out. They're in before Giants AND Saints. Seattle is already in. Saints can't win their division. Saints are out

Saints are not out. Just go do the playoff machine simulator yourself. Bears NY and Dallas lose out and we win out then were in.

Long shot but still possible.

for the saints to make the playoffs, the giants, cowboys, bears, vikings and saints must finish 8-8. saints would make the playoffs.

here's proof that it is still possible.

**ignore my AFC picks, I just randomly chose a team for those games.

Seriously dude, look at the link. We are still in it. Stop embarrassing yourself by claiming something that clearly isn't true.

The biggest games are Arizona beating Chicago and Philadelphia beating Giants. After that it is really possible. The playoff generator has us as the sixth seed vs niners in SF. This shite is still possible!
