Get. Over. It.
Frick that. Goodell is possibly putting an end to Vilma and GW's careers over some claims that may have never happened.

He doesn't wanna hear it. He has his mind made up. He's trolling.

You ought to see the trolls on the MSB.
Apparently, demanding evidence to support an outrageous claim is a sign that one has an "entitlement mentality".
Yes, holding someone else accountable for his actions and words reeks of entitlement to these sheep.

The media, who are supposed to report the truth, decided to run with the pay to injure story without looking into whether or not it was even true.
Because so many people out there refuse to think for themselves, the league was able to control the narrative, and thus, their thoughts on this matter. That's why we have idiots running around saying, "You don't need proof. Just accept your punishment."
Even when someone EXPLICITLY STATES that there was no pay to injure program, people aren't changing their minds.
So if you say to me, "U MAD?", my response is, "Yes, and you should be too."

Yeah, that MSB thread is the reason my post count is so low.....Too many idiots in the world to waste my time debating them on a message board.

I looked at it. I concluded it is a lost cause to try to talk reason with people like that. I had a guy(big Saints fan too) I know bashing Brees today for the Pamphilon story. Saying Brees isn't our golden boy like we thought, blah blah blah. I read the stupid article and listened to the interview and think the guy is full of it. Had to do the right thing, for all those ex players with dimentia, etc

It's almost like Goodell is just trolling the media now.
" There can now be little doubt that the NFL got its first leak wrong, requiring another leak to fix the first leak." LINK
Goodell's punk arse friends can't get their story straight.

Two sources with knowledge of the NFL's evidence in the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal said Friday that the league has a copy of a "ledger" that was kept detailing weekly earnings for players. The ledger, which shows both money earned for "cart-offs" and "whacks" and deducted for "mental errors," also points to the fact that players were told on a week-by-week basis of their performance
No matter what, I still don't see any real difference between putting a sticker on a helmet for a big hit and giving a multi-millionaire $100 for a big hit. Both are just minor gestures to reward good play.
If Saints were giving $100 for every int would the league give a crap? Both would be illegal in terms of playing players outside of the salary cap!

And if he doesn't, Vilma wins the suit and here come a whole bunch of other folks right behind him to win their suit as well including Benson, Payton, Loomis, Vitt, and especially Greg Williams.

Most assume and declare that bounties, pay for injuries, etc. are rampant throughout the league and always has. I agree.
However, the Saints apologists, in the same breath, declare the Saints did no such thing.

anyone on this board will tell you the saints had a pay for performance system going on...everyone's issue is with the NFL insistence that the Saints ran a pay to injure program.
