My guess is that there will be plenty of cheap tickets available well before the game.
Small sample size, but the euros I have spoken to on the subject, they don’t really spend a lot in the secondary market for sporting events.
I’d wait until I was going to buy airfare and make a go no go decision then.

LSU at Auburn is set for an 11am CT kickoff. That's perfect because the game will be on in primetime in Paris. Need to find an American sports bar to watch it.

Sports bars in Paris?
The one I know of on the borderline between the 5th and 6th Arr. in the St. Germain des Pres neighborhood where Rue de Buci turns in to Rue St. Andre des Arts.
And a few blocks away in the Latin Quarter is the very conspicuous New Orleans Saints Bar where I imagine they will have the game on.

I think you're talking about The Moose. I watched football there when I was in Paris last (Dec. 2018). It was a fun spot, they played all of the NFL games. College football was in the break between the regular season and bowl season, but Google says they play those too.
Smaller place, it was crowded enough to be lively, but not so crowded to be obnoxious. Most of the fans were American and Canadian tourists and ex-pats, but they had some French fans in there as well (some of whom had adopted the Saints due to the French connection and fleur de lis logo). It was known as basically the only place in Paris that you could count on the games being on tv (back then at least, maybe there are more now). The Saints beat the Buccaneers that day. It was also the day that the Patriots lost to the Dolphins on the infamous lateral play (where they had Gronk on the field for defense and he missed a tackle). Fun times, I'll probably go there again when I'm in Paris for the Saints game.
