Funny, sad, hilarious. I don't know what to say but those dudes were having fun. That's what it's all about anyway right? More power to em. Livingston Parish is standing proud today.

Right on Rapa, I told a buddy of mine who said it was a sad account on Southern Lousiana yada yada. I told him look, these dudes are having a blast not huring a soul (tv maybe, but no soul). What the hell is wrong with that? Bunch of Saints fans getting together celebrating a huge win. Yeah, yet OTHER Saints fans will make insults about their education, IQ level etc, etc. To me, that's just plain sad.

Well, they are pretty funny 'necks. You gotta admit. They're almost a parody of themselves, and I'm sure it plays well nationwide.

Although, that was pretty damned hot wasn't she? I mean, I think she had all of her teeth and she weighed less than 200 lbs.

This video is proof of why no one should ever say "Who Dat". Love the Saints, but that cheer is too gay/coonass.

Live and let live, I say. I think a whole bunch of you need to deploy to Iraq/Afghan to fully appreciate LIFE and the appreciation of it. Fans having a good time. frick it, who are we to judge? I have worked with dudes far less "sophisticated" then these folks and far less "educated" and I can tell you they'd give their lives for another American let alone Saints fan. Sorry, got off on a rant there. My apologies.

Just plain dumbass. It was sort of cool for about five seconds years ago. Now I cringe when it gets going.

The other way around? We've been doing the WHO DAT far longer than the Cincy chant. Matter of fact, the first time I heard them even chant it was a few years back when they made the playoffs for the first time in like forever. First or second year under M.Lewis. I think we started it WAY before they did.

"Who Dey" wikipedia

quote:

The Who Dey chant is first known to be used by fans of the 1983 Cincinnati team. It is similar to the phrase "Who Dat?",[citation needed] which has been used in minstrel shows and early jazz music in New Orleans since the late 1800s, and was officially adopted by the New Orleans Saints organization in 1981 during the tenure of coach Bum Phillips. The chant of “Who dat? Who dat say they gonna beat dem - - ” originated in minstral shows and vaudeville acts in the late 1800s and early 1900s, then was taken up by jazz and big band folks in the 1920s and 1930s, became a familiar joke among soldiers in World War II, was used in early TV skits in the 1950s, then was adapted by Southern University and the public schools in New Orleans in the 1960s and 1970s and finally was adopted by Saints fans and the Saints in the late 1970’s. Though fans had been cheering the "Who Dat?" cheer since the teams inception into the NFL in 1967, the marketing team of the Saints did not officially promote the term until 1981. In the 1981 season, Bengals fans used the cheer during the Bengals' run to Super Bowl XVI, where they lost in the championship game to the San Francisco 49ers. Although the Bengals fans would not admit it, the WHO DAT chant came first.

I am no expert of retarded chants, but I am pretty sure they have been doing it since the 80s

Good enough for me. Who Dat came first. I mean, it almost sounds like you wanted Cincy to have started it first. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the way it looks. In the 1800's huh? I would think that would establish squaters rights!
