Pretty dumb to say “if you take the big plays out...etc” no shite, I guess if you take out Brees big plays the Bears played great too....

Nope. This isn't fantasy football. I'll give up a 50 yard carry and another 24 carries for 50 yards over giving up 25 for 100 with a bunch of 3-5 yard carries. One leads to a bunch of 3rd and shorts. The other leads to a lot of 3rd and 7+.
ETA: You wouldn't give up a 99 yard TD run if it meant that the player would gain 1 yard on their next 24 carries?
