Oh my god!!!!!!!!! They are over the salary cap??????? When did we find this out?

Look at the people here who think that Loomis needs to be fired and Gayle needs to sell. Where did they come from? How come they've taken this long to come out of hiding?

I'm so glad you've pointed this out for us; no one on the Rant has talked about these things prior to today. Thank god they are finally being discussed. What has Saints Rant been without these issues being debated?

And don't worry. It's not like someone else will start a new thread on this same subject about 15 minutes from now.

The salary cap is projected to increase almost 20 million for the 2025 season

Mickey fricking Loomis. Why Gayle Benson kept him will forever be a mystery. It’s gonna be more of the same old shite.

Loomis will write off most of that in signing bonuses like he always does.

So what, it increases for every team not just the Saints. All that helps is a little less can kicking.

Yeah, we leveraged everything to give Drew and Sean a couple more chances... we failed. We all knew this was coming and accepted it

Yeah, but we have continued leveraging things years after both Drew and Sean departed. You could argue doing it at the end of the Brees era. To continue doing it is patently absurd.

And the Saints still don't even have a top 5 pick.

They feel like they have the worst situation in the NFL, but don't even have a top 8 pick.

I understand early first rounders aren't guarantees regardless of where you pick, but I'd like a higher pick for every round. Oh well.I'm not going to be negative about it now. Really pleased they got Moore.
