No, it's exactly what you should have expected.

Oh, so it's just not the 1st round pick you want lol? You can't force a team to want to hire him AND give up picks.

We all knew the comp would be underwhelming but getting a first round pick is still a plus.

Anyone else think this is going to go epically bad for the Broncos? Russ is washed and the rest of the offense seems pretty average.

I would have taken the 2024 pick to make it harder for Denver to get a franchise QB in the next 2 years.

What are you even trying to say bro? You said I said something that I didn't. Then mock me for trying to force someone to give us a strong offer?

It's called playing the fricking market to your advantage. There were at least two teams that wanted Sean. You could've told both you didn't think they were offering enough and tell Sean to go back to Fox. Play fricking hardball. Jesus H frick some of yall have no idea how to negotiate.

I tried to negotiate with my wife once and got nothing in return. It's not as easy as some of you want it to be. Takes two sides to make a deal. Not to mention, and wait for it this is tough to comprehend...ain't a single person on this board knows if Loomis played hardball or not. You just assume he didn't in your head because you had a perceived value for Payton that was always way to much.

The broncos talked with Jim Harbaugh multiple times. Who cares what Russell Wilson wants?

To get Sean Payton you had to check 3 boxes: compensation, Payton’s salary, and Payton control.

The market for all 3 was fricking small

Head over to Airline Drive and offer up your services, clearly the people who actually do this for a living aren't cutting it and you can do better.

You getting a super high second and another second for a HOF great offensive mind who didnt wanna coach in the town he was in so he forced his way to another team.

I love how some of you try to fit the argument based off the narrative in your head. The Saints are getting a first round pick. Stop with the stupid "super high second" bullshite.

If that 2nd rounder next year ends up being like the 34th pick can I say the Saints are getting a super late 1st rounder? Or that doesn't fit your narrative so it's a no go?

Ok so this is gonna be tough for you to comprehend so wait for it....LOOMIS DOESNT frickING PLAY HARD BALL EVER. HIS frickING TRADE HISTORY SPEAKS VOLUMES TO THAT. HE HELPED HIS BOY OUT INSTEAD OF BEING A PROFESSIONAL.

No shite

Everyone bitches when you trade the picks bc they have this value, now they’re bitching about the picks not being valuable

You got a 1 and 2 for a coach he didn’t want to coach here. There were a ton of hot coaching names out there this cycle. Take the hefty compensation and close the book
