Davenport has always been good, just never can stay healthy long enough to be a consistent contributor... not much wrong with his ability and/or technique... unlike Penning... he's got A LOT of work to do...

Davenport is fine. Bull rush and speed.
But he was/is still considered a 1st round reach. Small school. Obvious talent. Injured.
Penning is fine. Strong and committed. Considered a project with first round potential. Small school. Obvious talent. Holds.
They are both projects with talent.
Defense is a little easier with raw strength.. just attack and stay in your lane.
Offense takes a crap ton of understanding plays, audibles, team alignment, etc.
But he was/is still considered a 1st round reach. Small school. Obvious talent. Injured.
