It wasn’t some anomaly though, you can’t just discredit it. We’ve still won a SB with Brees and Payton. Choke artists in the playoffs would be Bills, Falcons, and Vikings, as far as overall history. I do agree as a Saints fan we choke a lot, but we did win a SB, there are worse choke artists out there
ETA: Don’t get me wrong, we frick up in the playoffs, just saying there are teams much worse

Payton is now 8-8 in playoffs.

I’m not 100% disagreeing, but I’d imagine there is 25 plus other teams over the last couple decades that would say the same thing.
I mean we did still win those 8 games, plus a SB.

choking implies that Saints suck it up in big games
look at the season. despite the Ws, we were sucking it up every week
