I've had season tix since 1997. I have paid scant attention to them recently. I had no inkling that rookies reported today and haven't watched a highlight or a news report since the draft. Opted for the refund as well.

NFL isn't going anywhere and will be fine.

Who replaces it? MLB? They're dying a slow death. NBA? Maybe, but they're players are the most "woke" pro athletes on the planet.

The virtue signaling about "I'm done with the NFL" will be replaced with "I'm done with Joe Buck" when things kick off.

The only people questioning whether the NFL is going to have a significant dip in viewership are those who don't live in reality.

The more important question is whether it will be long term.

The NFL was projected to make $15 billion this season.

With no fans, the NFL will lose about $3 billion.

If viewership drops, the NFL could lose another $3 billion.

They will make about $9 billion.

Still a lot of money.

The players will see reduced wages next season and sometime thereafter.

The NFL wins, regardless of boycotting.

The players are impacted with fewer big contracts and a pay scale that reaches a lower equilibrium.

In the long run, the NFL can maintain net profit margin in a declining market on the back of the players.

The social signalling may harvest future viewers as older viewers leave the marketplace.

Some fans may enjoy the decline in players' salaries.

It is not completely futile to quit watching.

There will be an impact and maybe future players may learn to appreciate all fans in the future.

Well considering 95% of the woke people in my feeds are waiters or waitresses, yeah covid kinda created perfect powder keg situation.

Hahahah, no one wants to go to large crowds/games due to covid.

However the NFL will still have massive TV ratings from folks watching games.

Dummmy.
