While you had Klein looking like he couldn’t get his head out of his arse. How do you give Teo a bunch of snaps and not give Robertson one????

Teo had an elite grade per PFF. Several run stops.

He and Robertson should play more. Not paid like the others, but productive.

Te'o was the one LB Sunday that played well.

Davis had 66 snaps
Anzalone had 34
Te'o had 27
Klein had 25 (which is a damn shame because it felt like he had at least 15-20 frickups)
Robertson had 0

Robertson is still clearly the best LB on the team and he had zero fricking snaps. Allen fricking sucks at picking who should be in the lineup. It's like last year when he had Harris and Anzalone "starting".

Anzalone is fricking lost out there half the time. If it wasn't for his athleticism he'd be worthless.

Davis had ups and downs. I think he's still adjusting to playing Will and understanding Allen's scheme.

Imo it should be Robertson and Te'o out there in nickel until Davis gets a better grasp of things. You can bring Davis in in base, and bring Anzalone along slowly because he is still fricking up far too often to be a starter. Klein should be riding the bench instead of Robertson.

I know this is Robertson's last year and he doesn't have upside, but you play your fricking best players, and right now at LB that's Robertson and Te'o.

Robertson brings energy and accountability. EVeryone seemed dead, i would have liked to see him in a few snaps

Imagine that. WWL just had a whole segment about how Robertson should be starting.

I've been calling for Robertson to start for awhile now. He, Teo, and Davis need to be the every down starters. The other guys can sub in.

Klein is no good.

Any interest in starting a PFF grade thread?

The hard on the coaches have for Anzalone is extremely concerning. He has potential, but right now he's not close to deserving of the snaps he receives.

There’s absolutely no better way to say this. Robertson is what he is. Which is a solid, consistent linebacker who isn’t going to stand out on the stat sheet a ton but he will be in position and make solid tackles. If there’s anything this defense needs at LB right now, that’s it.

I don't know if there is a more under appreciated player on the team. When he plays, he generally plays well. Yet, the Saints always seem desperate to replace him with bums who have far less production

Watch the game's opening kickoff again...Robertson hurt his knee and hobbled off on the first play.

But proceeded to play special teams, which has a much higher chance of injury, for the rest of the game.

He played 29 special teams snaps, which was tied for most on the team with Taysom Hill.

Snap counts

Klein was third with 21 special teams snaps, yet he also got 25 defensive snaps. shite ain't right.

I just don’t understand how a team with Mike Nolan coaching linebackers can have the horrible play we’re seeing. It just makes no sense. Something is very wrong, Nolan can’t think he’s putting the best players on the field.

Honestly I don't know if it's Payton or Allen choosing (Payton stuck his hand into the D in 2014 and 2015 with Ryan, but Allen is his buddy and the A&M connection is the only explanation for Harris last year aside from insanity), but it certainly isn't Nolan.
