re: Rizzi's won 3 out of 4. Now, he lost his starting QB. Have to give him fair shot in '25.

Rizzi should get another interim season in 2025.

No. The Saints need to execute a real coaching search.

Given the injuries and this roster, it doesn’t matter who’s coaching—it’s a tough situation. Honestly, anything close to 10 wins this season would be overachieving, in my opinion.
As much as I want the Saints to compete like any true Saints fan, losing these last four games might actually be better for the organization in the long run. I get that earlier draft position doesn't guarantee success, but outside of playing for pride/Rizzi or for players to hit bonus thresholds, every win from here on out more than likely hurts the Saints future.

So you wouldn’t even want to contact Ben Johnson or any of the other obvious better options at HC?
Boy what an interesting strategy

He gets an interview like rest of candidates.

He beat 3 horrible teams. The team needs more than a coach they like

Mickey Parenton. And yes

but you can see the coaching skill he devised on the FG block at the end.
It doesn't take a Rocket Surgeon or a Brain Engineer to tell Breesee to jump over the offensive lineman if they go low.
I really hope the Saints do a good search to see if any up and comer is willing to take the position. If they land on Rizz after that then so be it. Loomis, please at least do a search and see if anyone is interested.
