i am happy that he finally played to the point of being a guy that rushed for a 1,000 than a guy that recieved for a 1,000 yards.

1000yds isn't any standard anymore btw
12 other RBs have already reached 1000 and 6 more need less than 100yds tomorrow to attain it.
Simply 50 more carries than he ever had here with the skills he developed in the last coupla yrs

All Reggie Bush had to do was perform like Darren Sproles is and he would have never been labeled a bust. Yet he never could. Never could stay healthy and was a liability more than once. I'll wait another year before I remove the Bust label. The sun is bound to shine on a dog's arse every now and then.

Yeah this is an easy task.

Or better yet, all Reggie had to do was break the record for all purpose yards.

Reggie Bush received every chance in teh world to be "the guy" on every down for the Saints. He could not get it done.
This isn't true. Both Pierre Thomas and Chris Ivory came out and proved to be solid #1 Running Backs and they are still being rotated in a 3-4 back system. That's just the way Payton runs his offense. I think we can all agree that those 2 could carry the load as our feature back, but Payton still chooses to run a running back by committee system.

I agree. The only season where the running game featured a workhorse was 2006. Deuce was the guy while Reggie would spell him every once in a while. I think he had almost 100 more attempts than Reggie that year. Ever since then, carries have been split more evenly between the RB's.

His full potential couldn't be utilized here. Hell, Adrian Peterson or Chris Johnson wouldn't be the same if they played here. It's a shared workload in our backfield.
The only reason it's a shared backfield is because there is not 1 dominant, durable back that can handle the full load

1. This isnt how Payton runs his offense
2. Sproles and Thomas could both fit that roll
