Could explain why Payton got that year long suspension. I remember he disrespected Jerry around the owners meeting that SB year.

Jerry cares about making money, which he has done probably more than any other NFL owner. Wins are nice, but he only needs enough to keep ticket prices high

It’s not necessarily about running them, but they’re letting him be the man behind the curtain for their investment. At the end of the day, most are looking to profit on and off the field.
Gayle can talk about her love for the city and such, but her $300m investment is now worth 1000% more after a decade.

Wouldn't surprise me. Roger Goodell is so stupid, he would let someone even stupider like Jerry Jones run things. No wonder the league has gone woke and to crap in all aspects.
