Would love someone to tell me cause as of now why even. Nothing to fight for this season, playoff chances diminishing every week. Just tank for Jayden to give us something to look forward to.

As long as the division is up for grabs, they will try to win

Tampa wins today and the saints are still right there as sad as that is.

The obvious answer is that If we win we are probably in first place by 3:30.

Jayden is likely going top 5, perhaps top 3.

Even if we lost every remaining game, we would still have to trade a future first to get up that high (assuming we wanted to).

So you want to throw away the chance of making the playoffs in order to increase our chances of drafting Jayden Daniels from 1% to 1.75%.

Doesn't add up, mate.

Win or lose, they are 3rd in the division. If TB & Saints win, there is a 3 way tie at 6-7. Difference is Atl & TB will be 3-1 in the division and the Saints will be 2-2.

Instead of trying to defeat a 1-11 team to get a chance to tie for first place, we should just not try in hopes of picking up one player who may or may not pan out.

should be tanking for 3 years straight and stacking up 1st through 3rd round picks that will have immediate impact. could get a couple #1 picks also if they do that. sadly there is no long term strategy and allen is fighting for his job. he knows he will not be retained if the saints chose the tank route

this is the weak short twerm thinking that has them in this mess to begin with. keep kicking can down road! stay in NFL hell! not good enough to contend and not bad enough to get tons of high round picks to rebuild GENIUS!
