I made a change.org petition to hopefully help force the NFL’s hand in addressing the elephant in the room.

Sign/Share with EVERYONE you know so we can hopefully get this to gain some traction.

This is my last stand as an NFL fan, so i wanted to at least try to make some change instead of continuing to voice my frustrations on this board of which will accomplish nothing.

If nothing happens then at least we tried guys.

Here it is:

I do not care about the rules going forward, only the outcome of the game. And that those involved pay dearly for their sins.

Someone change it to where all the refs spend life in prison... a Louisiana prison in general population

I wasted time signing that, then wasted some more time writing this email to Roger Goodell:

quote:

Mr. Goodell, I would like to know what will be done to reprimand the referee(s) responsible for the single most horrendous blown call in all of professional sports? Of course I am referring to the non-call near the end of regulation of last night's NFCCG. Although the PI assessment may have been questionable due to the referee's angle and trajectory of the ball, the fact that the helmet to helmet was not called flies directly in the face of the NFL's supposed concern for player safety.

If the referee(s) in question are unable to correctly assess and penalize players for such flagrant disregard for a rule that directly impacts the safety of those on the field, then that referee has no business being on any football field - from peewee all the way to the NFL.

Anything short of a lifetime ban from officiating in the NFL for this referee is a slap in the face to the New Orleans Saints organization, their fans, and the players who put their bodies in harms way for the entertainment of the country and the enrichment of the ownership groups within the league. Thank you for your time.

Kind Regards, CptRusty

The other one wanted them to replay the game. Now compare that to this. Not as bad right?

I'd put them in solitary for 23 hours a day.

It’s not about the specific outcome.
It’s about the fact that thousands of people are playing pissed off and expressing it.
The other petition had about 170k signatures last time I saw it.
It has momentum.

A goal of 100 signatures? Way to aim high.
