Have we run a quick slant this year?

We do need an Oline before WRs though, IMO. If anything, a better Oline will open the lanes up for our RBs, protect Brees and open the PA passes up more. I like focusing on that in the offseason and then seeing what we have leftover on the cap to work with. Maybe get a RB late in the draft or a WR. If Saints shore up their Oline they will be the best team in NFC easy with the way our defense is playing. We just need more respect on our run game.

I still think Cleveland is crazy if they give up a proven stud WR for a 2nd rounder.

He doesn't have the monster freak height that some #1 wr's have to go with their speed but he produces on a shitty arse team.

But I'm guessing their theory is to just dump all skill position value bc they don't have a QB.
It's like having a ferari without an ignition

If they make a trade, the Saints could use:

A true burner at WR (for matchups with elite defenses)

A better starting center (they may not feel that way but most of us do)

A veteran CB who can start (If Greer or Lewis gets hurt, the quality of choices to play all the snaps against top WRs on this roster is null)*

* I think White and Carr are really solid extra package corners but would be terrified to have them start playoffs games.

Hope in one hand and shite in the other, bro. Nobody's giving up anything remotely useful for Mark Ingram.

First off, let's switch to brah. It's more local.

Second, I was just talking trade in general in this thread because I didn't want to start another one. Seemed topical. Ingram could be part of a deal for one of those needs I listed though. Or even a straight-up deal for a 2014 free agent that a bad team is willing to ship out.

The only way ingram would be useful in a trade is if the other team thinks they are getting too good a deal, and we have to throw in ingram to sour it up a little.

List Ingram as a QB, demanded position right now

trade stock instantly rises, who cares if he cant throw the ball, look at the other guys getting picked up right now, they are not much better, hell he might actually do better throwing than running lol

we can then get something better than the conditional we are almost guaranteed to get for him
