The ball to Kamara turned him around and was poorly thrown. There was no defender near him

The defender was hitting him as he was falling to the ground

The ball to Olave was behind him allowing the defender to be involved and get a hand in

You are correct! I found a replay and I do see now that it was the DB's hands that actually hit the ball. Live I thought it was the DB, then when they showed the replay on TV I thought it was Olave's hands.

That should have been an easy TD

100% agree! Pass should have lead him.

I agree with you. My expectations were that we would lose because of him….not sure I can say that.

This oline is awful though….Shough would not stand a chance either, and I think he is a better long term option….but I understand why he isn’t.

He’s not the problem…but he’s far from the solution.

This. His play in games 1 & 2 helped keep those games close & made them competitive despite the bad play around him.

I think his accuracy is a big problem. He has thrown behind guys several times and it has cost us points. He doesn’t have to be prime Brees, but he’s got to become more consistent.

Agreed. He's still a work in progress though. Maybe it improves, maybe it doesn't. The one positive so far is for the most part he makes the right reads & he's decisive with the football. If the accuracy does indeed come around both his play & offensive production will improve.

This is correct & it seems like Moore is trying to protect his rookie from this. It's getting to the point where fans clamoring need to see it with their own two eyes though. It will be just a matter of time before they turn on Shough, blame Moore for a poor draft evaluation on Shough & blame Loomis on wasting a draft pick. It just needs to happen sooner rather than later to just get it all out of the way.
