Look…..
you can bring out Shough anytime you want.

I really don’t care.

Why ??

Cause I don’t think he is the answer as a QUALITY Franchise QB.

His selection at #40 was a mistake.

Your future quality starter at QB is not on the team yet.

That’s why Saints are winless.

We are winless because there's not a single position on this team that's above average.

Look ….

The QB position is bad off.

But the status of the Saints roster as among the Top 3 worst teams in the league….

Thats a whole separate conversation !!!

If anyone thinks rattler is a franchise qb they need a head exam.

WR / a game changer period first please. Jordan Tyson would be nice . But I’m not sure he worth the number 1 overall pick yet . Ruben Bain should definitely be considered for us tho . Then maybe trading back into the first to get Tyson if he still there

He definitely doesn't look like it right now but last year he had plays over 20yds hitting the WR in stride. This year hardly any so far. I don't know what's up with that.

And yet nothing changes the fact that this team in 3/4 games had drives in 4th quarter to take lead.

While I do agree the roster needs a lot of work, Rattler could have gone and won the football game. He didn't, and therefore no matter how you slice the cake, he is the #1 problem. Because while everyone complains about every other position, if our QB (THE MOST IMPORTANT POSITION PLAYER ON ANY TEAM) was even slightly better, this team could be .500.

And while many of you, including myself, want this team to have a good draft pick. I'd prefer the team win. And when you have legit chances to win and are being held back very clearly by one player, it is the biggest problem.

Additionally, I am not saying Shough is the answer, but Rattler is not good enough and it is clear as day.

I guess we're forgetting the Juwan Johnson's drop on the last drive of the Arizona game.

It's not going to change. Hell if Tyler came in and won 4 of 5 games the board would melt down.
"Great Loomis, another pick out of top. No QB and another wasted year. Same ol Saints" etc lol

He's not anticipating the throw and his timing is off by a second. It's a new offense and I'm sure Moore is trying to develop him. He had no development at all last year in a different offense. He did throw over 20yds last year multiple times and his timing was on so I don't know what his deal is. He better start figuring it out if he wants to stay starting because if he can't beat the Giants then he's going to be benched soon. He needs to start looking for the deep ball soon.

The GM is the problem everything else is downstream of that until that’s fixed nothing really will get better

We have problems throughout the roster. You can’t put it all on Rattler,
even though I’d like to see more of Shough…

You need to go on Overtime podcast with those 2 clowns who have spent every show trashing Rattler and pulling for Shuck who is not ready for the NFl .
Coaches new this in preseason #2 after the 3rd and 30 debacle. He would be getting sacked 7-10 times a game.

I like Whit Weeks. Absolute baller. Good tackler, can rush the QB, is fast, could play some outside linebacker.

You know what's garbage 0-10 in career NFL starts. "Clueless fans" News flash buddy, wins are the only thing that matters and this QB can't win.

Everyone, all season, was saying how we needed to see Rattler with a healthy team because last season he was given a bad draw (which I do agree with.) But after seeing him not be able to lead a team to a win in 3/4 games he's had chances in 4th quarter, it is over.

No matter how bad you think this team is, they have had chances to win. Rattler let them down.

The 40th pick unable to unseat 5th rd Rattler is more of a problem than Rattler

is it though? Shuck was not projected to be drafted where we took him. CKM created this pressure by taking him in the 2nd bc he likes him.

but at the same time CKM is not forcing him to be the starter like most coaches would bc of his draft pedigree and also bc of the lack of a Veteran QB on the roster. Big props to coach for actually playing the QB that is ready to play, instead of forcing something that is not ready.

Rattler is not playing at an elite level, but if you think he hasn't commanded this offense and put us in positions to win a couple games... then you're being disingenuous.

If Rattler keeps getting better and develops into a Brock Purdy type starter... then I have no problem wasting a 2nd on Shough.

a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.
