Poor roster management.

It’s tough to watch former Saints Vonn Bell, Marcus Williams, Gardner-Johnson, Trey Hendrickson making plays for their new teams. We instead sign high priced FA Malcolm Jenkins, Marcus Maye, Tyrann Mathieu, and the Marcus Davenport pick. Trading CGJ for basically nothing ripped the swagger from our defense, Eagles stats aside we were a different defense with him on the field. With the combined money they spent on Jenkins, Mathieu and Maye, one would think that we could’ve at least been competitive in keeping Williams. Poor choices in roster management has killed this team, and don’t get me started on Peat.

That’s all Payton. Whether it’s garbage draft picks, draft trades, or bust free agents signings. Then he bails like a rat when he realized how bad he screwed the roster. Now Allen putting the final nails in the coffin.
