Don't waste your breath, obviously he's not very smart...there are plenty of good receivers that were taken in the first round.

generally agree, some close but none look like it. Ya never know though. Some WR draft history the past decade-

2003
Charles Rogers #2 bust
Anquan Boldin 6th WR picked at #54
2005
Braylon Edwards. Troy Williamson, Mike Williams all Top 10s not living up to billing.
Roddy White #27
Vincent Jackson #61
2006
Greg Jennings #52
Devin Hester #57
2007
Dwayne Bowe #23
Meachem #27
Steve Smith #51
Jacoby Jones #73
2008
Jordy Nelson 3rd WR at #36
DeSean Jackson 7th WR at #49
2009
Harvin 4th WR at #22

WRs seem to be one of the riskiest 1st Rd propositions IMO

My point exactly but everyone thinks I'm dumb. Unless it is a Calvin Johnson type WR, you don't use your first round pick for it. With the Saints defensive problems, we would be retarded picking a WR at 15.

Hicks, Harvin, and Demaryius Thomas have all been picked in the 15-32 range and have all been really good for their teams.

Roddy White was also a first rounder.

Just admit that you are a fricking idiot and get on with things.

Read the frickin statement again dumbass. I'm relating using the 15th pick of the Saints this year, so unless it is a Calvin Johnson type WR, then we shouldn't use the 15th pick on a WR with our defense in the shape it is in.

Yes, they were really good for teams that had shite at WR prior to getting them. We already have one of the better offenses and need help on defense. Taking a WR at 15 helps us marginally (but takes the ball out of Graham, Colston, Moore's hands, etc.). Using the pick on the best defensive player available makes so much more sense. And for every WR you can name that was good for a team picked in the first round, I can name three that were not.

You guys are idiots if you think we need a WR at 15. Sophandros, you can go F yourself.

Morgan is the only guy on our team that really can stretch a defense. A great downfield threat may take the ball out of their hands, but also will open things up for them to make more plays. A WR doesn't need the ball in his hands to have a massive impact on a game.

For what it's worth my way early prediction for this year is we will see the greatest amount of two TE sets we have seen since Payton arrived. Part of getting Watson was having a total package TE. He is a receiving threat that averaged 51 catches the past 3 seasons on some not so great offenses. He is an All Pro level blocker as well though. His skillset willl alleviate the need to bring in the assorted "as eligibles" that we have had to do. With Graham/Watson it may not equal Gronk/Hernandez numbers but it will be more closer to that than the 21 total TE catches besides Graham the past two years.
