This is confusing. Because earlier you stated:

I can understand that because your comprehension sucks. Elias never said it was or wasn't a pass. Just that it was staying as called by the refs. Say what it is. Like "shut up, it was a pass as we see it". The fact that you have had season tickets for 19 years, obviously, doesn't make you smarter, so stop saying that as a reason for your moronic argument. You are doing a great job of trolling though.

He suckered me in. But I'm a novice at spotting it. Low hanging fruit, I am. I'm not happy about it.

They never makes such statements that a play wasn't such when they so not reverse that stats. They simply indicate it stands. In fact the vast majority of the time they make no statement other than an indication the stat remains unchanged. They put out more of a statement when they do reverse a stat, which was not the case here.

Yeah, this was just a regular play with no substantial meaning. It really doesn't need or deserve an explanation.

Can we all just let this shite go? Drew doesn't care, Manning says he doesn't care, the NFL obviously doesn't care because if they did they would have overturned the obvious mistake, so let it go. Drew will break it again anyway. The NFLs little poster boy will retire soon and Drew will play another 5 years and break every record in the book anyway.

P.S. Drew already holds more records than any other QB ever anyway.

As far as I can tell the view from above is not out yet. I am sure it'll finds it was out in the next couple of days. But most articles do reference that additional camera view.

Lol. Every view is available on NFL rewind

Explain to me how it could possibly indicate that it wasn't a backwards pass when the best angle clearly shows that it is

Thanks for admitting that you haven't even watched it though

And, as mentioned, for all practical purposes Manning had the record beat by a hundred yards if he would have stayed in the game.

This is the most asinine argument people continue to use.

Whether you think he would've broken it or not doesn't matter. HE DIDN'T! Statistics are not arbitrary, that's what makes them statistics. They are fact, and cannot be disputed.

Except that they are being disputed.

As a buffalo fan and reading all this whining about a questionable lateral I would hate to see the melt down if an illegal forward pass was called a later and put you out of the playoffs.

And then you not make the playoffs for 14 years

We are sorry Doug flutie!!!
