Curious as Bushrod missed most of practice this week with something non injury related. I guess something personal is keeping him out for a while for this to be the move. Hope nothing too serious.

Ola is now the backup tackle if Peat is also out and LeRibeus has to take his spot.
Other option is to bump LeRibeus out to LT and put Clapp at LG if something happens to Armstead.
Definitely not ideal, and Bushrod was better than Ola.

I'm over it. If he makes some good plays then good. If not we lost a couple of promising rookies or decent vet depth over him.

He hasn't practiced since Wednesday and they don't cut him until today knowing the whole time they would cut him and could have had someone else in here practicing?
Yeah fricking right. It was personal stuff (Payton said as much) and we'll likely never know unless it comes from Bushrod as Payton doesn't talk about that stuff.

I think Bushrod has a personal issue to work on and as such probably isn't showing up at any camp right now.
The cut keeps him off the roster for Week One which makes him an easy cut anytime during the year if he gets injured.
