He's been a beast in Chicago. He was great here in 2013, I don't really know what happened after.

He got lazy and complacent.

It happens.

He was traded to the Pats before landing in Chicago. Must’ve been something for the Pats to let him go too. Probably just needed to mature.

Pats wanted to keep him but didn't want him for what the Bears were willing to pay (which wasn't a ton but a decent amount).

After being traded it was a wakeup call that if he didn't put forth the effort he was likely gone after his stop in NE.

He really rested on his laurels of his 2013. Lack of leadership after the purge (2014 offseason) didn't help.

I am pretty sure that Galette had something to do with his underachieving and attitude.

They said he was "un motivated"

But, our defensive luck changed when we axed some of the "GOood Ole Boye Coaches" If you know what I mean.

He used to piss me off so much.

The dude would absolutely light it up every preason, and then he would totally underperform in the regular season.

Him in between Rankins and Jordan along with Davenport would form the top defensive line in the league.

Hicks is a monster

I wish that DE from New England would have worked out as well. White guy and not about to attempt to spell his last name.

That being said. Rankins is doing a fine job at DT

You are talking about Hoomanawanui. He is still with the team, on IR. Solid blocking Tight End.
