I would have put the Saints but the NFL is picky about its IP and I didn't feel like testing it.

It wasn't bad for its time. And the theme is still relevant today. When does a star know it's time to walk away. Filmed in New Orleans and Tulane Stadium. Huge help for the project.

This is outstanding. I was young when it was torn down and often have wanted to know what it looked like inside. Can you do Pelicans stadium if you can get enough information? Would love to experience that. One of the shames in this country is we tear down our Coliseum's while Europe preserves them.

You are correct.
If Americans were in charge of the Eiffel Tower they sell the steel for scrap. If Americans owned the Roman Colosseum, they would raze it and build condos.
Baton Rouge is the WORST in preserving history.

Just rewatched. The Frey Meats sign when you are approaching the south end is rendered backwards (mirror image).

Only thing missing from the video, not that is makes a difference, are the flag poles along the outer perimeter..

Another thing I remember was, if it rained the night before a game, you would get a wet arse from those rain soaked wooden bleachers.

No detail too small. It matters a lot. I am trying to make things as accurate as possible, the plan is to replace things I guess with things I know so those missing flags are a big deal since its one of the few things we know and can see. Lol

Any idea what they said on them? Id love to capture the look of the real ones if i can.

I plan on adding flags to the poles on the south side as well.

The Saints had flags flying on all those poles around the top of the stadium. They alternated black and white arong the top and both types had wide gold trim on their edges. I can't remember what exactly was on the flags, eithers the word "Saints" or a fleur-de-lis or both. And I think they were tapered but not all the way like a pennant.

Wish could find a better picture.

I had a neighbor that stole one and had it hanging in his bedroom.

They were basically Saints flags that alternated color with each flag. Gold border on a white flag with a gold fleur de lis and alternated with a black border flag with a black fleur di lis.

Tried to find a close up but no pics were available. I remember a guy tried to steal one once, but the cops stopped him.

super bowl ix video
Not going to be the Saints flags for the Super Bowl. They were different for those games.

I think the Saints museum had one. Might try to contact Kenny Trahan.
