After the first Carolina game I posted that I thought Sean Payton's hubris would cost us a game this year. I argued that challenging two plays that were not overturned and going for it on 4th down were signs that he was making bad decisions.

I was wrong. Want to acknowledge a stupid post on my part. It was the same kind of calls that won us the game yesterday.

He needed more hubris on his playcalling in 4th quarter. Nearly gave game / season away to an inferior team.

I remember the thread. Good for you to eat your crow. Have an upvote.

Its one of those "live by, die by" things. Seans ballsy playcalling made him a success in this league. However, there are times where it cost us a game.

Id still take this kind of coach anyday of the week over a scared coach.

No dumb challenges yesterday which is my biggest gripe with him. Hes a bottom 10 challenger in NFL. Too reactionary / emotional.

Go aggressive or go home and his hubris won us a championship.
