Oh Man…Season hopes for Saints is bleak 6 wins; lets be Positive...2025 Draft Needs/Pick

1) Carr starting at QB = 6 win season
2) Other 2 QBs starting = 4 wins
1st Rd……. OT (Left or Right)
2nd Rd…….DT (Run stuffer) or WR
3rd Rd……..RB (Kamara old; other 2 meh)
4th Rd………Best S, OG or OT available
5th Rd………Best S, OG or OT available
6th/7th ……..Best player available
Again….Focus on positive by making the team better.
Wanna really be positive …focus on LSU upcoming season !!

Loomis extending Carr is a dagger.
The season is over before it even starts.
He should lose his job for that disastrous decision.

I’ll welcome the downvotes but my dream scenario is losing enough to secure a top 3 pick this year and getting DA and possibly Loomis (long shot) out the door.
*Hire a young upcoming offensive coach
*Draft Will Campbell (Fuanga back to RT)
*Move forward with a young QB (preferably Rattler)
*Explore trade market for Kamara, Lattimore, or whatever older veteran that you can get
something for
* Turn the page and stop chasing this imaginary championship window that closed around 2020
*Hire a young upcoming offensive coach
*Draft Will Campbell (Fuanga back to RT)
*Move forward with a young QB (preferably Rattler)
*Explore trade market for Kamara, Lattimore, or whatever older veteran that you can get

Signing him to begin with was a disaster. Clean the cap, initiate the rebuild with a journeyman like Dalton or Minshew and we could be on our way by now.
Our strategy could only work with 2017 type drafts. We’ll soon be cutting Miller, Foskey and Penning and gave up too much for the occasional hit in Olave.
We failed miserably and you STH get to fund a lost decade of Saints football.
