Missing the point. Saints paid their QB. That’s it, that’s who they roll with. And we paid for a backup. Now we get other players. You get your guy and roll the dice. Not about comparing, but trying to make it relatable for those with little football knowledge.

Great teams have a backup plan. Sean wanted to draft Mahomes even with Brees. Carr had a horrible year and they have a shot at Hooker or Levis but they go with some DT who was injured and hyped up in 2020.

I kind of agree. If you have confidence in the qb you just signed then you need to draft players to help him win but I would have been tempted to draft a qb that’s fallen into you lap. Trade Winston for a DL if that’s possible.

How so? You guys act like Brisbee is by far the better pick than Hooker or Levis. In what sense? Very few times have we been in a draft position to take a potential first round qb yet like every year we draft some lineman( oline or dline) that never pans out.
