They cannot justify giving him a big deal after this year. If they're this bad with him, they can't tie up that much money on a 37 year old QB. He's great, but not enough to overcome all these holes

All what holes? They need two capable Olinemen and they will be great on offense. Defense is super young and has some learning to do, but has talent.

Yeah.

And our D relies on on the DL.
And two of our starting DL are injured.

I mean, where do people think we're gonna get pass rush from?

He, along with the rest of the OL, played well down the stretch last year. It's just surprising

That's why I'm not ready to end the season so quickly as everyone else. The OL was mostly fine last season, and Peat is in better shape. Jahri could make the HoF some day, but he's well past his prime and his moving on isn't THAT big of a deal. Once TA is back to his usual elite self, I think the OL will be about average.

There are offensive lineman that play nasty. The tough, angry type that intimidate people.

Then there's Peat, who tiptoes around like a ballerina, enjoys movies like the notebook, and likes to chase butterflies.

Doesn't matter how good of a technician he is. He'll never be good because he's soft. Plain and simple.

2 or 3 lineman, at least 1 more CB, another LB, probably another DL if Fairley leaves in the offseason. Thats assuming Kikaha isn't diminished in which case you'd need another pass rusher.

Nothing's ever wrong on this board. Team is always super close. Just the way it is. Which is fine, but people have much distain for differing opinions

Cam has barely played this preseason. He'll be fine and his usual 8-11 sack self. Fairley will get pressure (dude was dominant first two games, a no show tonight but whatever). Rankins should be able to get pressure, but probably won't be 100% until week 7 or 8.

I've said it before, but Edebali will determine whether this defense is in the 20-25 range or the 10-15 range. We need production from the weakside DE.

Um, I would argue the most sarcastic and aggressive people on this board are the ones who say the Saints suck.

People like Thrillho and me are just having conversations.
